We put our regular school books aside and we're focusing on Christmas for the next few weeks. I have a stack of new library books and some fun craft and baking activities. I feel like we're entering a new phase with the girls being a little older now. I'm sure that some of the things we do this year will become new traditions for us. I hear so many families talk about the recipes they regularly make at Christmas time. We don't have those recipes yet and I don't remember any from my childhood so I'm hoping we can find some of our own this year. I want my girls to have warm and loving memories of home during this special time of year.
