We're ready! The girls had a little park time with daddy so I could finish setting up the workboxes and all of our supplies. I wanted this part to be a surprise to them. I keep the workboxes in our master bedroom because it's where I had the most free space. It may also help keep the twins out of the big girls' boxes. I am pretty certain though that I will need to set some workboxes up for Courtney and Claire as well.
I am really excited about how they turned out. I only have 6 for each girl and plan to add 6 more next time they are on sale at Walmart. The number strips, cards and most of the activity tags are from Jolanthe at Homeschool Creations. I have to admit, I still don't have Sue Patrick's book so I just made my system work based on what I had read on others' blogs. I still have a lot to learn, I'm sure. But for now I will just have them work through their boxes while I alternate my teaching time with each of them. We'll see how it works tomorrow.
I had a lot of fun setting up and it brought me back to my classroom teaching days. I would spend days setting up and it was so exciting to meet the new students and begin our year together. Back then I had no idea, nor would I have believed, that I would be setting up school for my own children one day. What a blessing!

Your little tins of markers and crayons look oh so Martha Stewartish and photogenic! I just may have to copy your idea :) Care to share where you bought them? Love the tags, too!
Your girls are beautiful, too! Glad they're loving homeschool as much as mine are--we're new to it this year, too :)
