Day 60 - at the school table

Our school table was transformed today when we added the Tot Trays with Montessori 'jobs' for Courtney and Claire.  School had become more and more focused on Calista and Caroline lately and the twins were letting me know they needed more.  It was obvious by the shift in their behavior.  School was taking us longer overall because I had to stop more often.  I don't know how I got out of my normal routine of spending my time first with them, then Caroline, and lastly Calista as we did school, but I did.

The Tot Trays will consist of Montessori activities (we're calling them jobs) which fall under practical life, math, sensorial, science, language, social studies or art.  I need to get all of my materials and ideas organized and ready to go each day but I truly think they will learn from and enjoy these activities.  I also think they like having jobs and working at the big table too.

You need to share some of the jobs you are doing with them. I'm always looking for new ideas!
