Lacey came into our life just before the twins were born. She helped me so much that I don't know how I could have done it without her. There were so many other stressors in life at that time that the lack of sleep was harder to handle. She was one of the few people that I was able to really to confide in accept help from. She became a special friend to all of us. When we moved to our new home, 3 hours away, she came with us to help us get settled in. The girls really missed her after we moved and have always talked about her. This weekend while were were back in our old neighborhood we decided that we needed to see Miss Lacey. It had been too way too long! Plus, now she has a baby of her own and we couldn't wait to meet him. It was sweet to see the girls with her. Even Courtney and Claire seemed to completely remember her. It seemed as if no time had passed and that she was a regular part of our lives still. It was one of those happy-sad things that make you realize (once again) how quickly time passes.
