Day 288 - old neighborhood

We left our house early on Friday morning for a trip centered around a football game (for Ken) and a homeschool field trip.  After we dropped Ken off with his dad we spent some time visiting my dear friend Sherri in our old home town.  The girls begged to drive by our old house and to stop and play at their old park.  It brought back some great memories of our time there and they loved seeing how much easier it was to reach the bars and swings now years later.

Our time in that house was a real time of growth for us.  It was tough, really tough, at times but it's so clear now as we look back to see how God was working in our lives.  He is so good and so faithful.
