Not Back-To-School Blog Hop: Curriculum Week

 not back to school
This year I'm participating in the Not Back To School Blog Hop at Heart of the Matter Online.  I've already blogged a detailed list of our curriculum here but I'm reposting it now so I can participate and also because I've finalized our preschool plans.   This is Curriculum Week so here is our list below.

Calista (4th grade), Caroline (1st grade), Courtney and Claire (PreK)

My Father's World, Exploring Countries and Cultures

Spell to Write and Read (all girls)

Cursive First for Handwriting

Writing Strands (4th grade only)

Intermediate Language Lessons (4th grade only)

Portuguese (all girls)

Right Start Math (all girls)

Hymns for a Child's Heart (all girls)

Typing Instructor for Kids

Awana  (all girls)

Preschool for Courtney and Claire

Before Five in a Row

Raising Rock Stars Preschool by Carisa at 1+1+1=1

Tot Trays

Be sure to go to Heart of The Matter online and participate in the Not Back to School Blog Hop.   It's fun to see everyone's school plans and find other great blogs.  Next week is School Room Week so hopefully we'll be ready for that.  We're busy preparing our room and curriculum to start on the 9th of August.   Happy Back-to-School time :)

I like seeing your curriculum written out like this. Is this going to be your first year with Writing Strands?

I bet you will love FIAR! I am hoping to use BFIAR with Jack next year.

Isabel,

We're also using RightStart Math, SWR, and Cursive First. I love them all.

We started school last week and it is going well. I hope you and your girls have a fantastic school year.

You've got a lot of good stuff going on. How do you like My Father's World? I've been very interested in that curriculum, but I don't know anyone around here who actually uses it, and I like to LOOK something over before buying.
Love the idea of Cursive First. I'll be looking into that further.
Great plan!! And BEAUTIFUL girls, by the way!!!!!

I just happened upon your blog and I'm enjoying reading so far! We did MFW Exploring Countries and Cultures with my 4th grader last year and this year we are doing MFW Kindergarten with my middle daughter (we have three girls). I'm looking forward to reading more on your blog!
