Day 184 - it's about time mommy

Lately Calista has been asking to move out of her car seat and use the little booster instead.  I realize that, by law, she could have done that years ago but I just wanted to wait until she grew a bit more.  I probably never imagined we'd wait until she was 9 but she only recently hit 50 pounds and her cute pink seat went to 65 pounds.  Aside from that, she never complained.

The way Caroline is looking at Calsita tells me that I just wont be able to wait as long with her.

They really are safer in the carseats for as long as possible. We gave in to the boosters a couple years ago. My (now 10-yr-old) daughter was barely 50 pounds when she was 9 too. Now she weighs about 60, which amazes me! I attribute it to all the muscle work in gymnastics.
