We stayed in a lodge with the other families from church and had a great weekend! The first night we were there we had a wonderful time of worship outside. The music and the setting were beautiful! They started with one of our family favorites, Days of Elijah.
That's daddy at the end of the pier, ready to jump. The girls were yelling, "Go Daddy, Go!"
We had some time of teaching each day which was also really good. The littler ones did pretty well throughout Bible study time by bringing some crayons and paper.
We had quite a hike up to a nice vantage point for the fireworks. I wasn't sure the twins would make it but in the end it turned out to be a fun experience. It was a great display and a first for the girls. We walked home on a much easier route.
Daddy and Pastor Henry.... packing up the families and ready to hit the traffic on the way home. It was a fun weekend and we weren't ready to leave.
We hope that Family Camp becomes a tradition with our church. We enjoyed it so much and look forward to next year.

Great pictures! It looks like you had a great time! I was very impressed how well behaved your kids were when we climbed the rock. I remember Caroline saying "I'm not panicking! I'm just looking!" as we walked by the cliff. :)
This looks like such a very fun and special time for your family and with friends. I LOVE all of these pictures too.
That does sound like a lot of fun! And now I'm singing Days of Elijah!
This looks so great. I am doing some blog catch-up reading. We just got back from a five week long trip. I also just saw a message from you from the begining of June!!! Sorry for not responding. I had very little internet access and gave up on trying to check email very early on in the trip. It looks like all is going great for you. Loved your update about your school plans for the year, also.
