We spent most of the day together, just you and I. When Anne came over to be with Calista we went to the park and enjoyed the sunshine. As I sat on the bench waiting for my tanbark smoothie and carrots you were preparing, I just prayed. I prayed for your little heart to remain in Him and for your life to be filled with blessings and joy. I prayed that I could be a good mommy to you and always know exactly what you need. I prayed that at our next stop we would learn what your body needed to feel better...less tired, less congested etc. I've always suspected that dairy didn't agree with you and recently, I had been cutting it back tremendously. I wish I would have thought enough to have you tested when you were little instead of just letting the pediatrician guide every decision.
After the park we spent almost 2 hours in testing with a very kind lady. You were patient, sweet and brave. From now on we'll find yummy recipes with no dairy, no peanuts and a few other ingredients that cause stress to your body. You are going to feel better little Caroline. I promise.

Did you read my post about the goat's milk? "Mirage" posted some great info there and the Meyenburg Goat Milk website. Interestingly, I am learning a lot about food these days.... apparently, milk it one of the MOST allergenic foods you can put in your body!... but Goat's milk is not supposed to have the same effect. Might be a something to look into.
Saturday on PBS there is a show airing called Food, Inc. (listed as P.O.V.) that is a MUST watch show about the food in America and the dangers we do not even realize. The DVD can be ordered on www.pbs.org .
