Day 43 - when daddy travels

Ken was in Texas all week on a business trip.  With the new territory he has there will be a lot more of these trips than we're used to.   I get a little nervous before he leaves.  What if something happens?  Who will I call?  How will I do this alone?  What if someone breaks a bone or something?

One night I was certain that someone had broken into the house.  I sat in the living room reading to the girls wondering when the burglar would come around the corner.  In fact, I got so worked up that I called a friend and her husband came over and searched the house and yard for us.  I was embarrassed later for overreacting but they were so sweet about it.  I need to toughen up a bit for the upcoming trips.
