Dinosaur week

We went through this lesson more quickly than others.  Caroline wasn't very interested in the dinosaurs and there wasn't much I could do about it.  She was interested in knowing if they were on Noah's Ark or not and she loved discussing it with daddy.  We enjoyed drawing several of them and making a mini book of her drawings.

I found this cute D is for Dinosaur craft at Totally Tots.  This was a favorite with the twins.

We also made some dinosaurs out of clay.  I wish I remembered to pull the clay out more often.  The little ones love it too.

Caroline was really proud of her dinosaur and made sure I photographed it.

Here are the books we read this week.
The Littlest Dinosaur by Bernard Most
Danny the Dinosaur by Syd Hoff
Digging Up Dinosaurs by Aliki
What Really Happened to the Dinosaurs by Ken Ham and John Morris
How Big Were the Dinosaurs by Bernard Most
Four and Twenty Dinosaurs by Bernard Most
My Visit to the Dinosaurs by Aliki
Where to Look for a Dinosaur by Bernard Most

Nice clay dinosaur! Your projects look fun. My daughter was interested in dinosaurs but we zipped through that lesson too because she had an eleven week class on them at co-op. We are stuck on P-p-Penguins right now. She LOVES penguins. Can't get enough of them, so here we are. We are doing a lapbook on them and it just happens to be Penguin Days at the zoo. I see a field trip in our near future!
