Our Snow Surprise

It doesn't normally snow where we live so waking up to snow was a special surprise.  The girls were so excited to go outside even though it was still dark.  We scrambled around to find warm coats, hats and gloves and finally made it out the door.

They couldn't wait to build a 'snowgirl' and they named her Jubilee :)  They tried naming our truck Jubilee a while back but daddy would have nothing to do with that.  The truck needs a boy name since he's already surrounded by girls.

Oooohhhh... you got a lot of snow... well, for Texas. We were in Houston on a getaway trip and had to leave early to head home. We stopped by the freeway and played in the snow and then got home just in time for snow to start falling at our house. We got a good dusting of snow, but it was gone by the evening with exception to some of the rooftops the next morning. Love it!!! Even the messiest little bit of it we get here!

How fun! We got our bigger snowfall today (our full-fledged winter has come later this year) and our kids were delighted to be out there! I love the snow girl with her cute scarf and hat!

How fun to have that much snow in Texas! We are much further north and haven't gotten that much snow since last winter. We've had a few snowfalls but not enough snow to make a snowgirl! The kids are patiently waiting!
