the real Day 189 - do we need to move?

Calista really wants to set up a lemonade stand. She's talked about it every summer for as long as I can remember. It started when we lived in Colorado and we saw some kids there doing it. So this year I said we could figure it out after our trip. We talked about earning money to buy the mix and some of the other details. The whole time I kept wondering where we would do this. Our street, our neighborhood actually, feels like a ghost town. We may see someone walk their dog once in a while but never do we see kids playing outside. I know they are here somewhere because I used to see a few at the bus stop. So naturally I've been avoiding this topic.

She didn't give up on her dream :) She placed a sign on the kitchen counter while I was making dinner. It read, 'Water in the hall, 15 cents'. I gathered my coins and purchased a refreshing cup of ice water from this fabulous water stand. She and Caroline had four thirsty customers today.
