Caroline had a great time this week at vacation bible school. She was really excited about her leader, Miss Mikaela, and she liked being with the big kids now. I would always look out for her between activities and the funny thing was, she always seemed to be a little separated from her group. I didn't think much of it though. Caroline wanders a little regardless of where we are. Later at the dinner table Caroline was telling us that Miss Mikaela was always looking for her. Curious, I asked to tell me more about it. She said that she (Caroline) would lose her group almost every time they moved stations. She said she never noticed that they left and her crew leader would always find her when she was walking around looking for them. That is just SO Caroline. Sometimes I think it's just me that she doesn't hear and I get so discouraged. Caroline just has her own little world and people keep interrupting with silly schedules and requirements. I'm glad she told us this story tonight. It helped me remember being a kid and appreciate her world a little more.
