Focus is a popular word around here. It's used often because we need more of it. I can give them a zillion things to do but it comes down to what they are interested in learning. Today Claire wanted to build the letter mat. I never would have expected her to put the whole thing together....never even thought of it really. I found her in my room today building the mat letter by letter. They were a jumbled mess in the original basket so she took one at a time. I sound like I'm bragging but I'm really just so amazed. She was in there for over an hour, totally focused on completing this project. She was so proud of herself!
