This picture says it all. Wednesdays are tough from the start because I wake up knowing that I'm on my own until bedtime. Ken has fire academy on these days. I actually think that it's having two 2 1/2 year olds that makes it crazy. I've handled a class full of 6th graders, even at science camp for a week, and it's still more manageable.
Courtney and Claire sing at the top of their lungs, yell please and thank you to me like I'm hard of hearing, throw themselves down dramatically when the other twin wont play and want to eat constantly. That's it...they eat, dance, scream, cry and yell. Oh, and I can't take my eyes off of them for a split second or they are moving chairs and stools to climb up onto the counters or massive pieces of furniture. I had moved this CD player up to the counter so they wouldn't break it. All I did was leave for 30 seconds and this is what I found upon my return! It's Courtney. I still had hours to go until bedtime and I was already wiped out.
