Day 5 - back to school

School started again today. I love having the routine back but I missed having Calista at home. She was apprehensive about going because she knew she'd have to face the bully. We had practiced what she would say and she said a prayer last night that she would be able to do it. When she came home it was the first thing she told me. She stood up for herself on the playground instead of walking away as usual. She was really proud of herself and I couldn't stop hugging her.
