Today Ken left for Washington DC. He was really sick last night and I was really wondering how he'd make it. I felt really, really sad for him. We had a great talk yesterday and were on the same page again as a couple and as parents. I felt so much better and it was sad for me to see him go....especially that sick. When he arrived in DC he called and told me that he had actually passed out on the plane! We all miss him.
