Day 299 - portuguese lessons

I started teaching the girls Portuguese this year.  Even though I grew up speaking only Portuguese at home I had never spent much time passing the language on to my girls.   I don't think I've made it through many conversations with my dad without the usual, "You really should be teaching them to speak Portuguese."  He was right but I often tried to get off the phone before the lecture started.    

Well, with the help of my dad (of course) I now have this great Portuguese curriculum which the girls love.  They get such a kick out of pronouncing some of the words and listening to the CDs.   It's helping me brush up a little too since the lesson plans are all written in Portuguese.  I'm so thankful for this gift and wish I would have listened a little sooner.   Thanks Papi :)
