It was Homeschool Days at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We had this trip planned with our homeschool group and it worked out so well for us. We stayed with family close by and had a fabulous time. The aquarium did a great job for Homeschool Days with special projects and exhibits. It was a long trip but very worthwhile.
It was fun to have Ken on this field trip. It's so much easier with 2 adults! He helped the girls make a little paper shark. He kept trying to have me take over but I casually walked away and he did a great job!
The employees were wonderful with the kids! I loved listening to the girls interact with them. They had good questions and commented on most everything. They weren't afraid to touch the marine life either.
We spent most of the day there and I believe there was even more to see and do. We look forward to making this trip again next year. Thanks to Grammy and Grandpa for taking good care of us :)
