We were also able to spend some time sitting in their roundhouse, pictured below. The children were told of the special celebrations that were traditional to the Miwok Indians. We sat on pine needles (surprisingly soft) and it was nice and peaceful.
The tour was packed with information and our guide was so knowledgeable. The children did really well considering the 'talking' part was close to 2 hours long. I was very proud of the girls :)
