Day 250 -isthmus

The older girls were making their geography vocabulary cards today.  One of their words, isthmus, was very interesting to all of them.  The twins joined and wanted to make an 'isthmus' vocabulary card too.  I wasn't sure they'd last through it but they did!  They learned the vocabulary word, made a card and hung it on their headboard.  When I tucked them in at night they kept telling me all about an isthmus.  They are such a kick!

*An isthmus is a narrow strip of land, with sea on either side, connecting two larger pieces of land.
