Day 199 extra days to play

We were only planning to stay at my parents' for one night.    The kids had so much fun that they really wanted to stay and play more with their cousins so we decided to add a few more days.   Ken couldn't resist their sweet faces so he agreed to make the drive home alone and then back to get a us a few days later.  It was a good plan until it was time to for daddy to leave.  Oh boy did they cry!  Calista cried so hard and for so long that I really though about chasing after Ken on the highway.  We all agreed that we wouldn't split up like that again and then they calmed down.  As soon as we got back to my mom and dad's the cousins came over and they had so much fun!

I wish I had taken some pictures of my brother with the kids too.  I love seeing them all together.  He's so  playful and loving with them.  Although I love where we live,  it saddens me that the girls wont know my brother better.

Having a few more days gave the kids an opportunity to play.  We visit approximately 3x per year but it was like no time had passed.  The kids played long and hard.  It was a happy time.  :)

Chasing each other - Claire and Jacob are the monsters.

My Tia Lili (mom's sister) was also in town with Tio Ben.  It was a treat to spend time with her.  Claire wrapped her arms around her and said, "I love you, I love you, I love you!"  They were instant friends.
