Horse Week in Kindergarten

Our Horse Week in Kindergarten had over a week-long interruption due to a flu and cold bug that hit our family.  We finally finished it and added a few other farm animals along the way.  We read several good books and gathered some interesting facts as we read.

In the end, Caroline chose two for her own writing page (which she added to her farm book).

We spent much more time on our trays this week as the girls learned the process.  They LOVE them and so do I.  I wish I had started off with these at the beginning of the year.  It's all part of the learning process (for me) and it has taken some trial and error to get here.   I've loved the MFW Kindergarten curriculum but I let it drive me more than necessary on some weeks.  I know Caroline and I know how she learns.  I'm not quite sure why it took me most of the year to relax a little.  Ugh!
