Last year I started Project 365 and decided to keep it here, on a blog, so I could keep it current while ordering photos and transferring it to the physical 365 album. It worked out well because I only ordered photos every few months and there is no way I would have remembered the journaling that went with each photo had I waited. The problem that I did run into was that as I wrote it on my blog, I wasn't filling out the journaling cards. Had I done them weekly it wouldn't have been as overwhelming as doing months at a time. Well, I'm happy to say that I have finally finished transferring my 2009 blog posts to the journaling cards and added the photos. So my blog for 2009 is now in an album. Whew!
I thought that maybe this year I would just have my blog transferred to a book instead of doing the same thing again but I went ahead and purchased the album for this year. Now Becky Higgins calls it Project Life (since she broke away from Creating Keepsakes) but it's the same concept. She has a digital version too, which I may try for 2011. I just like how much journaling I can write on the cards and am afraid the digital version would be more limiting. Not sure though....I need to check it out. I still love scrapbooking but am just not finding the time during this season of my life. Keeping this blog and my physical album for the kids to see, really make me feel better about what's not getting scrapbooked right now.

I love the book. I really need to do that - off to check out the link
Hi Isabel, I am still needing to find a system for my photos. I see that this is out of stock on her site. Would you recommend another option that is similar? I thought about just getting a binder and photo dividers with pockets but it might be hard to find them all in the same place. I know you are experienced than I at this type of thing.
I love my Project Life album, thanks to you:-)! I am a little over half way through with 2009. I, too, am doing this physical version for my kids and the blog (and slowly the blog book on Blurb that I am putting together) as well. Yes, I also wish there was way more time in each day to scrapbook, but not right now. We'll do that when we're Grandmas, right:-)?
I'm so impressed and want to do the same thing! Do you start with Jan. 1 or do you start at the beginning of a new school year?
One think I love about your album, opposed to a digital version, is that your handwriting is in it. That's something your family will appreciate years down the road.
This looks so well put together am I'm just in awe over it, wishing I could do it. I wish we lived near each other so I could learn from you in person. Great job! =)
