We took a break from the academics today for a different kind of learning. Organizing! I usually do some major sorting and purging at the beginning of the year but we were visiting family during that break. We met together in the morning and made a plan. Calista read to us from one of her special books,
Making My Room Special by Emilie Barnes. This really helped because it laid out a plan and that's basically what we followed. We brainstormed a (long) list of areas that needed help and got to work! Our goal wasn't to finish the whole list today but we really got much more done than I expected.
