Day 278 - moon cake

Caroline has been studying the moon in Kindergarten.  The lessons have been wonderful and we have all learned from our activities and reading.  It was a special treat today to bake this on her own.  She measured, mixed and then made some craters on her moon.  She added baking soda and vinegar to see some volcanic foam.  They were all fascinated with that!  It ended up being a yummy and moist cake, complete with moon rocks (marshmallows).
