Day 153 - potty training

Today was the big day!  We started potty training.  Both babies started off strong but after the first accident (within the first hour) Claire dropped off.  She was traumatized by the pee pee touching her legs and feet.  So was so upset that she begged and cried hysterically for her diaper and was then even afraid to go potty in there.  She kept making sure that the diaper would hold it.  She was seriously shaking and I had to hold her for almost an hour.  I think I'll have to wait a while before attempting with Claire again.    Courtney, on the other hand, went about 10 times in the first hour just so she could keep eating M&Ms.  She chose only red ones of course.  

One thing that was really unexpected was how much Calista helped with the training.  She set the timer for ever 15 minutes and took Courtney most every time.   Caroline definitely helped as well by reading her books and helping with the whole process too.  When Courtney is potty trained it will really be because of Calista and Caroline.
