Today we made these little clothespin people. I've been trying to work more craft time into our schedule lately because I think it's so important for them and I also really enjoy it. The relaxed time leads to great conversations. Today is a perfect example of that.
Calista, Caroline and I were talking about different crafts which led to the scrapbooks I am making for each girl. Calista, very excited to get hers, asks when they will get them. I tell her that it will probably be when they marry and have their own home. She then has a light-bulb moment!
"Mommy, you can give them to us when we leave to go find our husbands. We can look at them while we are on on our way".
