Lily, the pill bug, is the newest addition our the family. They know we're not getting a dog or a cat for a very long time and I'm thinking they just really want a pet. This morning when we went out front to play the girls were surprised to find lots of roly polys. It was pretty exciting.
Calista decided she wanted to adopt one and bring him or her home. She immediately got her little notebook and sat on the driveway planning what she needed to do. First things first, she needed to do some research. We went inside and looked these little bugs up online and found some information. She prepared a container with the necessary vegetation, light and moisture for Lily and brought her home. She carried her around and talked with her the rest of the day. Now I'm really thinking she needs a pet! She read that Lily could live up to 2 years so that is what she is expecting. Oh, I hope little Lily makes it through the night.
