I was driving home today from the Bay Area. I went to say goodbye to Estela. I was really nervous about going because I was afraid that I wouldn't stop crying. The whole trip was less than 24 hours but it felt good to be in my original hometown for a little while. I saw some very special friends and had a lot of down time driving. I wrote all over the inside cover of my book as I was driving because so many random ideas came to mind (future projects, things to tell the kids, scrapbook pages etc).
I'm inspired to have a little more down time. It would really provide a little more think time and a little more creative time and a little more friend time. Just a lot more balance.
