Day 54 - scientist mom

It is so interesting to see how different they are from each other. I don't think that much of what I learned with Calista works with Caroline. And nothing that I learned with the first two applies to the twins. I never gave Calista or Caroline penmanship pages at 2 1/2 and Calista never would have turned penmanship practice into a coloring game. I forget to adjust what I am doing and then I am reminded again and again. I need to be a scientist to be a mom. It takes so much observation, so much listening and such a learner's heart to parent. What an awesome and difficult job mothers are blessed with.
