Last night Ken and I had a party to attend. We couldn't take the girls so we really hoped Ms. Lacey could come over since we'd be in Gilroy. Well, Calista and Caroline were giddy with excitement all day long. They could hardly stand it. I was a little worried that the twins would be a handful but Lacey has handled much harder times with them. In fact, I remember asking her things about the babies that I should know. She was with them almost as much as I was. I miss those days being with Lacey, having a friend around all the time, but I don't miss how nervous I was back then. We don't see Ms. Lacey like we used to, obviously, we moved, but whenever we do it seems like no time has passed. She is still part of our family.
