We went to the Doty's house tonight. Calista and Caroline got some extra special attention. Jeff introduced Calista to magic; which was so new and amazing to her. She followed him around the rest of the night wanting more. Caroline snuggled up to Steph and needed nothing but her company all night. If they weren't talking, Caroline would just stare at her. It was sweet. It was the first time in a very long time that we were with friends and I could actually talk and connect with them. I'm usually totally immersed in taking care of Courtney and Claire....whom I might add...made themselves at home the minute we walked in. No one was high maintenance, Ken helped and paid attention to the kids too and I got to hang out with Steph without having to run off every minute. It was a fun night and I really need more of those.
